    Hello...!
    Can someone help?
I need R/W or root permission to all my root files.
I realise that my deleted apps still have roots or left over files in my BB10 folder directory, I need to root them out cus they are occupying unnecessary space .

    Help... someone help me.

    You can't root a BB10 phone.

Try opening BlackBerry World, go to My World, then My Apps & Games, and find the list of "Available" apps there. These are the apps you have deleted, which have saved history so that you can install them again without paying a 2nd time. If you remove them from that list, they will truly be gone - and if BBW no longer offers them, you won't be able to change your mind and re-install them. But it may open the space you need.

Thanks so much Ragbert, but it did not work, my BlackBerry OS 10 Android leftover files are still there. Any further clue?

Well you can go file diving. A lot of applications cache files in the misc/android folder of your device. Open File Manager and navigate there - you may see subfolders bearing names of already deleted apps. I deleted about 200 image files that a chat program had cached, to save room on my device.

Just be careful - if you don't know what a folder or file is for, be safe and leave it alone. Some of the files there may be needed for the Android Runtime to function properly.

If you still can't get enough space freed up, consider re-installing your OS with an autoloader. This will completely wipe your device, so first back up your contacts and anything else you wish to save. Also make sure you know your BBID and password. Then you can restore what you backed up, and re-install only the apps you want.
