I blocked a phone number of a robo call that is calling several times a day. The call is blocked but they keep leaving messages on my voice mail. Is there a way to block them from leaving voice mails? I have a Blackberry Key2 LE with Verizon.

The only way to stop that is to use an app that quickly answers and hangs up on them, which is pretty much most call blocking apps. There's also several apps that will answer the calls for you and have a 'bot' handle them, dump to into a continuous ringing loop, or force them into a voicemail service that you can check or ignore without every triggering your real voicemail.

Yeah, but........ If you set Do not Disturb to Priority only, and if Priority Only is set to allow only from contacts, then why doesn't that work? Given those settings I should only see and hear calls from my contacts, but that is not the case.

I guess that's why apps like YouMail exist........because Android does not block calls like the settings suggest. Why? In don't know. He's on third, and trying to get Android to do what the settings actually say is not so fun.

Robocalls suck. Android is Google. Google is an add agency. ......I guess I just answered my own question.

    So.... new question........

Why doesn't BB make their own phone app and give those controls? They did great with Inbox, Calendar, etc. Now do the phone part of the phone some justice.

Please BB..... please help us stop the insanity of robocalls.

Or you can just use the dial/number pad and do the following (in no particular order) every time they call you:

    Answer call. Press 1 (to get to a person) then "112122223654169865412235456789906369 636990258514741585269 36989021471365852169847219847126984512365412654123 654126598412365"

I guarantee they will never call you again. Ever. It worked for me. Kept doing it until they stopped dialing my number. They kept cursing and threatening to beat me up. Hahahahaha. Had a ball doing it.

BB doesn’t have the manpower to maintain their apps anymore.
