    Hi,

    I am using a Z10.
My current version of the Link is 1.2.3.48 / Device Software is 10.2.1.2102.

I had a fatal error - bb0015, after I had successfully backed up my files to LINK. Somehow I managed to wipe out the Z10 and it is now up and running as if it just came off the box.

However, now I cannot to a Full Restore as there is an error message which says "the data isn't compatible with the version of the device software that your currently running" Device setting and Local Contacts/Calender Data.

Does this mean i should re-install a previous version and then try to restore???

    Pls help.

    Thanks and Blessings.

That sounds like an error message you are going to get when you try to restore a back up from a later version on to an earlier version of the software. If it possible when you reloaded the OS you put on an earlier version? If so update to 2102 or later and you should be ok yo restore.

Hi, if the backup was done from a later OS version (from 10.2.1.3175) and trying to restore to OS 2141, it keeps give incompatibility issues. Is there a way around this?
