I have various email accounts all linked to my gmail which automatically respond from the mail address receiving the message, and this works fine in the gmail app and is why I don't use the hub app, is there a work round for the hub to act in the same way because when I reply via the hub it only replies from the main account and not the associated one which revived the mail, and this is a pain as the main account is my private email and not work related

add your accounts separately to the hub.

This is not an answer that makes sense and is less than helpful.

OP, you will need to tell us what device you are using.

Hi, I think it is a valid answer. The reason to have mail collected and have all your email accounts in one location is when your online login in to multiple email accounts is a pain. The hub does that (much like Gmail does). The hub collects all your messages from multiple accounts and displays it in one convenient location. So yes I too recommend adding each email account to your hub. I have 7 email accounts on my hub and it is a breeze to work with.

The OP's question is re use of alias emails, not primary emails.

OP...I have a suspicion you are using a BlackBerry Android but if you are using a BB10 device open device Settings...Accounts....and Select Default Account (the checkmark icon at bottom).

That should enable you to choose your desired "reply" account, but only one unfortunately.
