    I am from india but I have a z10 (stl100-1)foreign model. There is no BlackBerry sign near the signal and my bbm doesn't work, shows "No BlackBerry data.. unable to connect to server"
    My brother also had the same foreign model but when he updated to 10.2.1 he totally lost his signal strength like no signal at all. So should I stay on 10.2.1 or update to 10.3 also I want to use bbm and get the best of BlackBerry. Pls help!! (without giving deep technical solutions, I really dont get them) Thank you

    Technically he should get a Bbm symbol if he connects to some free WiFi hot spot, right? If so then when he doesn't get it with mobile signal then he doesn't have a data plan (or not the correct one because some telos stoll charge for Bbm yada yada....)

    Do you have friends that has the same device and experiencing the same issues? It may be that BBM is blocked by your country or carrier?
