So I bought my Priv a month ago thru Verizon for $700+tax and I notice its being sold for half as much elsewhere. Kinda upset. Not to mention that I'm unable to update my contact list from a backup of my friends old devices blackberry classic and the blackberry torch. I feel had.
Sure, it's being sold elsewhere for cheaper but not the Verizon version. As for your contacts issue, have you tried the BlackBerry Content Transfer tool?

That's the way it is at Verizon. The Z30 was still being sold for full price at Verizon LONG after it was heavily discounted everywhere else.
