    I have gone into every area and marked all as read and I cannot get that stupid red notification icon on CB to go away. I remember there being an option to get rid of that.

    Alright, have you tried removing the app and re-installing it? I had this bug on the 10.3.1.1154 leak. I reverted back to 10.3.0.1154, which solved the problem. I wonder if it would persist if I had deleted the app and re-installed it. If it doesn't, then you can assume that this is a bug of your OS. And also, try to turn all background stuff off in the CB settings. Set everything to manual.
