My Blackberry Classic won't connect to my computer, so I can't backup, this has been a problem for several months. Now the screen has broken, so I can't use the phone at all. How do I recover the data and transfer it to another (possibly non-Blackberry) phone? I'm based in London, so if there are any shops I need to go to in the area I can. Many thanks in advance.

Which OS does your computer run? If you can run BlackBerry Link on it (or blend which contains Link) while your phone is plugged into it, and sign into your phone from Link, then you should be able to access your phone's files on your computer. I do this easily with Windows 7. I've seen some people have trouble with Windows 10 but it can be done. Can't help you with any MacOS, sorry.
