    Hi there,

    I need to get some information from my backup file that was from a q10. I cannot find software out there that can read my q10 backup file

    Please help if you know of software out there.

    Sorry You can't read a bb10 backup file with any software out there. It's packaged differently from the old. bbb file extensions.

    But out of curiosity, what exactly do You need to read from the file?

    This is correct. It's part of BlackBerry's security, to prevent someone who gains access to the backup file from reading your personal data from it.
