Radio widget for Android

I LOVE the radio widget for Blackberry phones. It's simple, and works well. I switched to an LG G8 today, downloaded everything Blackberry I could including the Keyboard, but the radio apk fails to install. My phone does have an FM radio, and another radio app detected the radio, so it should work. Yes, I am paying the subscription for BBM-E and Hub.
Ideas?
I use the FM tuner all the time when I'm mowing the lawn and other activities as it uses less power than streaming.
I know I can use my Passport or Key 2 for this instead, but I'd rather carry one device.
If there isn't a work-around, can anyone recommend a good OTA radio player for Android?

Update: if you look, LG's Radio APK is available. Not quite as nice as the BB10 app, but it works pretty well.
