    Have you dropped device? Water exposure?
    Recent update of OS?
    Try a hard reset ...hold power button down until Q5 restarts. If this fails use BBVE to test keyboard function.

    What happened after the hard reset? Does your phone return to homescreen?

    Is the keyboard dysfunctional in all applications? Or only BBM or sms or email?

    After the hard reset the device starts but the same issue was there... in all apps bbm whatsapp and android apps also

    Did your keyboard demonstrate any hardware issues in BBVE?

    If not this is likely software and depending upon your current OS I would start by deleting any recent Android installs and rebooting device .

    If that fails to correct I would then try reloading or updating OS through BBLINK.
