    Currently using Nokia E63.

But now need to change. Much of the new offering is touch screen. I am not much in to apps or games. The last game I played on phone was "Bounce" on some Nokia about a decade ago.

For me its mainly check mail and schedules and business make and receive calls. For videos I use TV or go to theatre to watch movie 5" is too small. Never owned apple product.
But not very sure about Blackberry and Q10. As currently everyone is using touch screen. Some even advised avoid BB as the company is likely to go under and not survive (that I don't believe).
Do not want to use Samsung S 2s 3s 4s 5s no pun intended but in India long distance train coaches are numbered S1 S2 S3 or C1 C2 etc.

So should I plunge to get BB Q10.
As in India there is no contract you but handset and choose your service provider or Carrier.
Secondly can Q10 be used without BB HUB service like any other phone. I can use my wi fi to connect.
May get in to HUB at later date.
What is the verdict. is Q10 good.

Sounds like the Q10 would be perfect for you. Yes it has the hub. Also, you might want to consider the new Classic when it comes out.
