I connected my q10 to my laptop using the Hdmi to watch a movie. It says Hdmi not connected on my q10. It syncs to the blue ray player just fine but not the computer. How do I get it to work on the computer?

Your laptop's HDMI connection, just like your Q10's, is an outbound connection. You need to use an actual monitor or TV.

Just connect your Q10 via USB and navigate to the movie via the computer's file manager and watch it that way.
