    Hello everybody!

1st i wanna say - i am new in the BlackBerry environment.
I have my Q10 bought via ebay 3 weeks ago and it works fine....

But since some days my Q10 is not starting anymore...
When i turn it on after some seconds is the BlackBerry logo visable, when this logo disappears it wont boot and gets the red battery sign with exlamation mark.
Sometimes the 'bb10-0020' error is following....

If i using the official charger, trying to boot with no battery and it just comes up with the red battery symbol with a line through it, and will not boot. (Same happens with a Samsung and Sony charger)

Sometimes I receive the error code "BB10-0020"... it appears sometimes during the booting process (after the 'BlackBerry' Iogo disappears).
I know the official error description "The device did not start up due to a non-functional or bad battery.".

    I have 2 batteries - both don't work on my Q10 anymore...
But my (both) batteries are working fine in the Q10 of my friend...
Also his battery is not working in my Q10 (same behaviour).
So i think that my Q10 is damaged :/ and of course i have no warranty

On my friends advice i tried to boot the my Q10 with an autoloader (Q10-Q5_10.3.2.2339) which i found in this forum.
The autoloader run through - there was no mistakes or errors during this process.
But it didn't solved my problem, i still have the same problem

Now i am not sure, what i can try next...
At the moment i think there is (maybe) a hardware failure on the mainboard?
I am technically fit - so i am not scared to replace some hardware modules.
I found a new mainboard sparepart on ebay - can I just change my mainboard with this one?
On my current mainboard stay "PCB-44859-006" (yes i have dismantled my Q10).

Sorry when my english is bad and there are some mistakes - i am from germany and i don't speak / write / read english every day

I hope you can help me or give me some tipps what i can try else...

    Best regards from Germany,
    Denis

Perhaps there is a problem with your Q10 sensing that the battery is making a proper connection. Have you tried putting some paper on the opposite side of the battery from the connection point, to force the battery to have a tighter fit?

If it does have a warranty, get it to a service centre, they will get the thing repaired for free.

Maybe check the contacts on the Q10 to make sure they're touching the battery contacts? Maybe clean the Q10 contacts with a bit of 90+% isopropyl alcohol?

This was one of the first things that i checked
The battery is touching the contacts, also i cleaned the contacts with Propanol (70%).
But it don't solved the problem

Have you done the soft reboot? Hold down both volume keys at the same time for about a minute? I had something similar happen and this I believe has fixed it.
