Hoping to get some assistance with my boss's BBQ10.
    Running OS
Not entirely sure when the update was performed as it is not my phone. He has been complaining for weeks (at least a month) that his battery was draining at an unusually fast rate. Ordered new back up battery. Keeps one charged all the time. Issues occur regardless of which battery is in the phone.

Can lose over 50% of the charge in just a matter of hours. Checked CPU usage for past 48 hours and PIM is utilizing 72%. The only email account that he has is our corporate email from Office365.

As best I can tell, there are no additional apps installed other than the originals that were on the phone out of the box.

Now - just noticed today that it keeps going into " domestic roaming" mode. I am sitting in my office with WiFi activated.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Well the roaming mode might have something to do with it but the PIM at 72% is the culprit. Might need to delete that email account and readd it but only doing 30 days worth of emails. Is there a calendar and contacts syncing to with that account I'm assuming? Maybe need to turn the sync refresh down on those too. Clearly it's running almost nonstop at this point - almost as if somethings not downloading properly.

try a hard reset to start, hold volume up and down buttons for 25 sec until you see the blue loading screen

Will a hard reset delete any information? As this is not my phone, and the end user is the President of our company, I have to be really careful before making any changes. As stated above, I have swapped batteries and also "restarted" the phone.

No you won't lose anything. It just refreshes same as doing it to your pc.

    BlackBerry is a better experience.

Check if BlackBerry Link is on in the phone. Does user need access to his PC on the phone? Because this can drain battery
Also having GPS, screen brightness and constant sync with emails.

    Good luck!

Did a soft reset. Uninstalled and re-installed the email program. Turned off the HUB notifications and BB Link.
Not sure where the issue was - but all is working good now.
    Thanks for all the help.
