    Hey! I have a Blackberry Bold 9900, I had been using the chat option inside the native Facebook app for quite some time and it worked perfectly until two or three days ago. It receives messages even when the app is not opened but when I send one it shows that message has been sent but if a open Facebook on desktop there is no message sent.
    I've reinstalled the OS and have done pretty much everything but nothing seems to work. Tried on both mobile network and WiFi but no luck

    i cant be certain but i believe fb has stopped the ability for messages to be sent using that platform . on my passport i had to install messenger lite to continue using fb messenger. i think they removed necessary API's but maybe someone else knows a little more than I
