Can you browse the Internet will talking on the phone without using Wi-Fi? If so what settings do I need to change?

I think that depends exclusively on the wireless technology your service provider uses, not any setting on the handset.

You have a better memory than I do.

But yes, on Verizon, there's a setting (maybe only on their web interface?? or by calling???) to turn on HD calling??? Let me think about it as I clean the mud off my crystal ball!

NOT in Phone settings.

In Main Settings, in the top items: Advanced Calling....

But again, I think it has to be instigated from Verizon's web pages and there it is an option, if I recall, that does not cost anything to be enabled.
