Hi Guys and Gals, I have been using a priv for a year or so, it suddenly started to get hot and eat its battery. So after rebooting and every other suggestion i choose a factory reset. I backed everything up on the internal SD card, removed it and did a reset. Now i put the card back to find it is encrypted and the phone cant read it. Have i lost the data or can the phone read its old encrypyion? Any help would be appretiated.

The key to read the SD card was erased when you factory reset. I believe that there is a warning along those lines somewhere either when resetting or when you first encrypt it.

The SD card CAN'T be encrypted if used as portable storage.
