For instance, if I'm in the middle of a conversation and my phone rings, I'd like to know what button I push to get the ringtone to stop playing. On the Z10, this was either of the volume keys. So far, I've tried vol up, vol down, mute, and lock but nothing seems to work. Is there a setting I need to change?

middle of a conversation? on the same phone?

Or do you mean you need the Do not disturb profile? Check setting/sound profiles. On my Android, i have quick settings in a swipe down from the top...

There's a flip to mute function under settings in advanced interactions. The mute button on the side works too

Have you tried answering it? That usually works to silence my phone when it rings.

What he's trying to say is how to make the ring tone ringing without either hanging up or answering it then hanging up. On my Passport I can just press any key and it'll stop making the ringing sound while the phone is still ringing. It's been useful for me when I'd have to quickly quiet my phone during a college lecture lol

According to the Priv operating manual either press the volume up or the volume down or the mute button, which is in between the volume buttons. If they are not working, perhaps try to restart the phone.
