[CrackBerry Question]

My Priv has an odd issue - when ever I'm connected to wifi it beeps or vibrates (depending on ringer settings) all the time. Sometimes it's several beeps in short succession, other times they're spaced out more - there's no accompanying notification, however, and it never seems to lose wifi connection. This NEVER occurs with the wifi shut off.

Is there a setting I'm missing, or something?

Have you installed a 3rd party app that monitors network and/or WiFi signals? It sounds like an ongoing notification about signal strength. I had one that was driving me nuts - there seemed to be no way to turn off the notification. I deleted it.

I am having a similar issue, however it only happens to me when I drop Network signal, such as if I walk down to the office garage to get my car or I am in an elevator.

I have searched any 3rd part apps and can't find any notification settings.

Ecm - what 3rd part app did you have to delete?

Sorry I can't recall the exact app. It was several months ago. It was one of the signal strength checking apps.

OP here - I joined

I have two third-party apps - Telegram and Steam. I had Snapchat, but I deleted it and have still had this issue... Otherwise, my phone is pretty virgin. I can't remove the Steam app without screwing up my account for 15 days, but I guess I'll try Telegram. Would force-stopping the app (but not uninstalling it) have the same effect?
