    Any ideas which prepaid cellphone company supports or works with black berry's cause on metro they don't and in total wireless too , is frustrating since I just got the dtk50

    Work... and are supported are different things.

    Total Wireless uses Verizon's network, so it won't work with your DTEK50.

    MetroPCS uses T-Mobiles network, so it should work... but even some that had a T-Mobile PRIV (short lived as it was), could not get MetroPCS to enable it.

    Wonder what would happen if you told them it was an Alcatel Idol 4?

    Trick is to stop telling them you have a 'BlackBerry', they instantly relate that to old BlackBerry devices. There's nothing stopping a generic 'Android' device from being added, provided you're not like trying to put a GSM device on a CDMA service.

    thx for the advice... didn't know we have to go to "stealth" mode talk to carrier... that make sense... (good old days, you swing a BB out of holster, like western movie guys pull out of slinger... every body take note).
