I just bought a powerbank to use for my passport but it doesn't work for it. It charges for about 5 seconds then stop. It works for my tablet so the powerbank does work.

Does anyone else have problems with a powerbank on the passport?

Have you tried a different cable?

On the powerbank I bought, the charging cable is already connected to it.

I did some research and I think the output is not strong enough. Apparently blackberry requires a certain level for the phone to charge.

Yes, you need a powerbank with 2A output most decent ones (10,000 upwards) should have at least one port like that

Although the slower one should still charge just really slow, only way you can charge with that is with the phone off
