I would like to use my Keyone as a tablet, connecting over wifi for internet access. This works well, with the exception that I cannot use Verizon's Messaging+ app. It syncs to my phone numbers but will refuse to send and receive messages giving the error message "No Sim Card". Verizon says it shold be possible to use the application on a nonactivated phone and tells me it must be a "blackberry" thing. Any help? Am I tring to do something impossible?

I'm not sure why Verizon would say that using an app that requires an active phone number to send and receive SMS would work without an active phone number. The carrier network is pretty much required except for those that are eligible for WiFi calling, but a SIM is still needed in order to provide the endpoint for your connection.
