    Why doesn't BB get with the times? The prominence of the $ symbol may have been useful for the 1990s businessman but in this day and age, the @ for email/forum handles and # if you're on Twitter are more significant.

    Is there a software file that can be relatively easily replaced?

    Let's not worry the physical key doesn't show the actual symbol assigned to it. I'll figure that out later.

    You can only change the $ to another currency. There is no file to change. And if you think the currency key is outdated, I dunno what to tell ya lol. Money makes the world go around.

    It used to be on any BlackBerry that for email, you could type the space bar twice in an email address field to autopopulate the @. As for Twitter or other services, there's no handy shortcut for the same purpose. No idea if the double space even works on an Android BB, though I would hope it does.
