This isn't something new as I've been reading similar question through different sites. And hopefully someone here in CB could, finally, offer a fix.

Photos do not appear in the Pictures folder, however they could be seen via File Manager. No thumbnails also. I've already tried several supposedly fixes but the problem just won't go away: from switching settings to save photos in the device & media card, formatting the media card, removing it and restart then re-index, doing a hard phone reset, everything --- and just the other day, replacing the media card.

If you've tried the perfect fix, please do share them here. I'm close to doing the ultimate fix - reloading the OS.

It appears that some one hide them...slide down from top in picture folder then click unhide items..

FYI this isn't a case of hiding or unhiding or whatever. That doesn't even exist in Q10 as far as I know.

Same problem I've had with Q10 but I just reboot and that seems to solve problem till I take more camera pics. Then need to repeat the reboot.

I'm on Take note that this is Q10 which will get 10.3 yet soon.

And I think I've figured out the problem - Secure AntiVirus Pro. This issue began when I installled this app and missing photos re-appear after uninstalling it. Anyone using the same anti-virus on Q10?

Sorry for the delay to this follow up but yes the problem in my case was the Secure Anti Virus app. I have since deleted it and I no longer have the problem. I tried to report this matter "bug" to dev but was unsuccessful. Too bad because that app was good otherwise.
