For the past three days, my Z10 suddenly dies at between 50-60%. And the annoying thing is it occurs to my two batteries. Sometimes it goes from 20% to zero in a second. More painful is it just goes off suddenly then the red light comes on and it struggles to boot up again, sometimes dying while still coming on and repeats the whole process again. Help guys
Check the battery contacts on the device...corrosion, damage??
Run BBVE to see if there is an errant application consuming your system reserve and battery.
You may need to calibrate batteries. A few threads on Crackberry which describe process.
You may want to try a reload of OS to determine if it is somehow a software issue.
If Lusitano17's advice didn't worked out, I suggest getting a new battery. You see, it's been more than three years since the Z10 came to the market, eventually the battery's gonna need to be replaced.
I think it has been solved. I used an autoloader then wiped the phone and cleaned the battery terminals and it's running normal again only that now, the system OS eats more juice. It used to be the display that consumed the most power. Let me allow the phone to settle down after the flurry of installs and see what happens
