Depends on how much you want/need a physical keyboard. Otherwise, you're better off with an Android device in this day and age.
The DTEK50 will be a nice upgrade from the Z30. The Passport will leave you with all the issues associated with using the BlackBerry 10 OS in 2017.
If you want apps or using whatsapp, then go with the Dtek50 but if you don't need too many apps or whatsapp, go with the passport

thanks for response. i haven't use pkb much, only a few months in 9900 and q10, it's really good to feel the typing. so i imagine using the magical passport kb. however the apps are obsolete even with playstore (some apps don't install or even show in the list for download).
typing on screen in dtek is good as in z30? ips lcd are so bad than amoled (i like amoled)? the dtek have OTG usb for mouse and flash drives, hdmi output? passport have hdmi output as well?
picking up a sd801 passport is like picking up a lumia 930 (great phone i had) already dead platform even being a great phone?
are there performance lag with dtek? (like z10 and z30 comparison) i don't like midrange chipset because the phone need to last for 2+ years supporting updates

No HDMI on the DTEKs but you can use Chromecast. If performance is a issue for you, get the larger DTEK60, but the 50 works well for me.
