    Hi all,

    I really hope you can support me with the following. I'm already trying to find a solution the last hours, but it didn't work out.

    - 2-week old Passport Silver Edition worked fine yesterday evening, but is "dead" today morning

    - Screen is black, the Passport is not starting

    - No reaction to soft or hard reset

    - When connecting an USB cable, the LED light shows red (not blinking, just all the time)

    - BB Link is not able to connect to the phone / reload of the OS via Link not possible

    - Sachesi is not detecting the device

    - OS is the latest "official" BB release of 10.3.2

    Do you have any idea what I can try?

    Have you tried another charger and left the phone alone for a few hours.

    You could try an Autoloader, sometimes it will see the device and load the OS. But normally the LED is flashing when their is an OS error or specific hardware error. But a solid light... ?

    Is the phone under warranty?

    I already tried another charger and it loaded for few hours, no reaction. Do you have a recommendation for another autoloader than Sachesi?

    The phone was bought 4 weeks ago via hitmeister.com and should be under warranty.

    Usually I'd run the auto loader and when it starts looking for a devcie, I reboot my phone and plug it into the USB cable. Not sure if yours will do a hardreset with either the volume keys both held or the power button held for 60sec, but I'd give it a try.

    Otherwise I'd return the phone for a replacement.
