Is there or has there been a patch been made for the passport (att version) for the screen flickering issues. It seems to have invaded my camera as well. When I try to take a picture it keeps flashing green in the frame where I want to take the picture. If I switch the camera to HDR mode it stops and I'm able to take pictures. It doesn't flicker all the time, just periodically and it's not subject to being app specific. Any and all suggestions would be most appreciative.. thanks in advance

U have to side load it, want an official fix, all pp holders are not computer savvy, people responsible for BlackBerry should keep this in mind. All people or all BlackBerry mobile holders have to be computer Savvy to use your phone, how stupid.
Simple, give us a straight official fix for our problems.

Im having the same issue I have my PassPort on auto update and my Passport since the update is terrible its full of bugs and glitches to the point where it was the best handset Id ever used to now I hate using it. I appreciate people are saying this was sorted weeks ago but has it been officially fixed because Im not 100% happy with all this side loading leaks etc Somebody please help!!!!

so I used the step by step procedure and it worked like a charm. I am delighted that it was step by step and it worked as easily as it says. Thank you very much smokeaire for your patience in pointing out to me that the post was step by step and thank you for the sites. it makes me proud to be part of such a great community. (incidentally love the picture of the aussie. I breed pure bred aussies and they are the best dogs ever.)

Go to settings, then display, and select a different option for virtual keyboard appearance and that will fix the problem (you can change the settings back to your preference afterwards).
After I've done that the problem went away permanently.
