Hey guys,
Up until two weeks ago, my PP had great cell reception. Then, it gradually weakened and now it's completely shot. A few others have had this problem, though most threads regarding this issue are from ~6 months ago. According to those threads, there is no solution other than to get the Passport replaced. Unfortunately for me, my warranty expired in May. Does anyone know what's going on? Any ideas on how to fix this?
I've tried everything recommended in previous threads except a hard reboot (soft reboot, playing around in the network settings, SIM card replacement, etc, etc) because even people who did the hard reset still had the signal strength issue afterwards, so I haven't bothered.
I've got a normal Black PP running 10.3.2.2836.

Thanks so so much in advance for your help! I really miss my Passport =/ currently back on my Q10.

No guarantees but I'd go through these steps...

First... Hard reboot by holding power button down for 20-30 seconds until red LED flashes and BlackBerry boot logo reappears.
Second... Use BBVE to confirm Sim recognition and use a NEW nano-Sim that is not a cut-out .
Lastly....Reload the OS or preferably update( make sure to back up essential data/media)

If the reload or update fail to change things it could be hardware related and then a repair or replacement is needed.
