When I try to share a contact I get a message : "This contact's data can't be shared". Can someone please tell me why this is occurring and what I need to do to remedy this rather annoying problem?

Contacts may well be Blackberry's worse app. The problem may be you're trying to share a contact you don't have permissions to share; i.e. a Facebook or twitter contact.

When you link several 'sources' of contacts it may still happen, and when you have a local copy of your contacts it may still happen. It sucks big time.

By any chance, do you backup your contacts through Blackberry Link on a PC? This might have originated your problem... If this is true, you may delete Link's database and try again.

Worse thing you'll have to do is to delete all contact accounts and re add them.

I had to upgrade to SR 10.3.2.2226 OS 10.3.2.2339 for the contact sharing to work again. So happy it is working
