    Hi, problem with my passport. boots up fine. When i try to open any apps, they close quickly.

    In a sense yes. As web pages incorporate new technologies (Javascripts, etc), the BB10 browser will have more and more trouble opening them because it is no longer being updated to keep up with the latest web page code.
