Hello
In the settings for an outlook.com email there is a "tasks" option. What is this?
It appears to have nothing to do the "remember" app

Looking if this will work for me. My wife and I have bb10 devices and want to share a notepad. Bbm group offers this with tasks format and I don't care for that, evernote is not something I want, if possible

There is no way tasks can be shared like calendars are shared.

When you normally saved a task it should appears in your remember app.

Outlook tasks go in the calendar and the remember app

oh yeah and there is on setting to share this per say. You could share your calendar I suppose to get this to get to your spouse.

Thanks everyone I see. It shares as we both use the same account on each phone
I was looking at notes of reminder not tasks. My oversight. Note would be far better for us but oh well I'll keep looking. Currently we are using bbm group to keep lists and such.

Now that I got the task on my phone.
Where does it go on my outlook.com account
When I log in I do not see. Perhaps I am just missing it.

Go to your calendar in outlook.com and then click the options and hit the tasks option

Outlook tasks are synched with the Remember App!! (my blue folder here in the screenshot)
And Evernote (green folder), in the notes too!

On my Passport with 10.3, I find the tasks synched between my Q10 and my Passport as well as my Outlook.com account.

There is no issue with Evernote, but you must know that only the Notebook that has been set as a "standard" or "default" will be synchronized with Remember. The other folders/notebooks are seen in the Evernote App aswell as the computer App. Remember synchs the main default folder only!

When my tasks exceded the number of 100, they kept been synched between my Passport and Q10 (if I enter one on the first device, it was shown on the second immediately) but my computer browser did not show them (neither Chrome nor iExplorer, did not try Firefox)
