Open pictures on WhatsApp

I have a blackberry z3, been using android Whatsapp since January. Downloaded android Whatsapp from apkpureonline also have whatsfixer downloaded. On Friday Whatsapp crashed, I reinstalled from apkpureonline, now I cannot view pictures sent to me via Whatsapp. If I click on the picture, it says something about no media files being available. Any idea how I can fix this?

When you reinstalled Whatsapp, did you reapply the patch?

first shut down android whatsapp.then apply patch once more
