Old pin deletion from contacts

My friend just got a new Classic and I added her new pin. However, I cannot get rid of the old pin. When I edit her contact, there is no field for the old pin, just the one for the new pin I had to add. Can the old pin be deleted?I too have a Classic. I cannot get rid of her old pin. Try adding the new one and then seeing if it will allow you to delete the other.
