Press the app logo that you want to delete for few seconds, and tap delete icon.
Navigate to system settings > Storage and Access > Device Storage Details
Click on the app you want to delete
On the bottom bar, Click the "Delete" button.

good guess folks!! 'Device storage' delete does not work! 'holding' the icon works for a very select few. thanks --- still working on ''' deletion '''
Those steps that I wrote, work for the 10.3 series OS. If you have an earlier OS version, here's a KB article:
KB10040-How to view or remove installed applications on the BlackBerry smartphone
In addition, there are some apps that you will not be able to remove (This is on the Q10). Here's a link to the user's guide page:
Deleting apps - User Guide - BlackBerry Q10 Smartphone - 10.2.1
You can always create folders by dragging an icon on top of another one. That's an easy way to clean up and consolidate multiple pages of apps.

Go to BlackBerry website or in YouTube to make your basic things clear like how to delete an app, how to do a security wipe,
If you learn all the features which are in setting page then it will be very easy to you to understand.
