No scroll in photos

I can't seem to swipe across the screen to my next photo in the pictures folder. I have to keep using the back arrow to select the next photo in the folder. Is this normal on my pp?

EDIT. Nm. Figured it out. I was in the file manager folder. Works fine in the pictures folder.

Lol, would be nice if this was added to the file manager as well. It's caught me out a few times also.
