    Hello All,

    Recently I bought BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone. Now my problems is, when I tried to setup my gamil account in my BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone, I didn't find any option as below. Please give me the solution. My BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone is updated to 7.1OS also.

    Press the Menu key twice.
    Press Setup.
    Press Email Accounts....
    Press Internet Mail Account. Here I didn't find any Internet Mail Account, when I press Email Accounts Enterprise Account is opening.

    Please please help me with solution.

    Let me guess. You bought a used phone. Not a wise option. I hope you can get your money back. If it is locked with a Internet Policy, then it was someone's work phone.

    Have you been using a BlackBerry phone on this service plan?

    Do other data services work? Can you use the browser and log onto BBID and App World?

    To check if IT policy is enable, go to Options - Device - Device and Status Information. Then on the screen that comes up, type buyr (no charater will shows up on the screen when you type those 4 letters). Then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and see if IT Policy enable is there. If it is there, remove it as in the link provided in the post above.

    When the phone is clear of IT policy and if you do not have a BIS plan, check the stickies in the Bold 9900/9930 forum. One of the stickies there contains instructions for setting up gmail without BIS.
