    I recently had my phone stolen, got a replacemet sim and put it into an old phone of mine, a Blackberry 9800. I am with EE and have a 500MB data plan but when I try to connect to anything on my blackberry it tells me I do not have a data plan? Does the data plan on my sim not transfer over to blackberry? I'm not using BBM or anything like that, just trying to connect to facebook, and SMS/calling work fine.

    Call ee and ask them if you are provisioned correctly.

    Older BlackBerry phones need a BlackBerry Internet Service plan (BIS). Call EE and ask them to enable it.

    Modern data plans won't work with BBOS phones, you'll need a BIS plan.
