The STL100-1 is not CDMA capable. The only Z10 with CDMA is the STL100-4, and it was released for Verizon.

    4G as in LTE--no. HSPA+ (21mbps)--yes.

    Right.

No 4G, like I said, and HSPA+ is just faster 3G. Honest carriers classify it as 3G.

None whatsoever. If you want 4G in India, you may get it with an STL100-2 if you're a) a Reliance customer and b) in the right places.

You're going to need to buy an STL100-2, but be aware that you will not see 4G everywhere Reliance has a 4G network. It will only work wherever they have a band 3 4G network. See the quoted post below

Users of 4G connections in India are in for a disappointment if they have been waiting for the newly announced BlackBerry 10 devices. According to a report on telecomlead.com, the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 smartphones do not support the TD-LTE technology standard which is being used in India to deploy 4G connections.
Currently, there are only two operators, namely, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries in India who have commitments to a 4G / LTE network. Of those, Airtel has already rolled out its 4G services in Kolkata, Bangalore and Pune using the TD-LTE standard. Reliance, however, is still in planning stages, with an expected launch of its 4G services in July this year. Similar to Airtel, Reliance will also be using the TD-LTE standard for its 4G services
4g service currently provided by Airtel is TD-LTE, which will work on any device that supports 2300Mhz band 40.

Apart from the 2300 MHz spectrum, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd (RJIL) announced that it had acquired the right to use spectrum in 14 key circles across India in the 1800 MHz band. The 14 circles included Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, North East and Orissa. 4G services would be using FDD-LTE on 1800 MHz, and this frequency range is supported on a much wider range of devices that support 4g (Most of the western countries use this range).
