Hi guys, I have always been lurking around but never created any account however this time round I couldn't find any concrete answers so I really need help.

I lost my blackberry Q10. I have sensitive and private data on my phone. So after attempts of retrieving seemingly failed, I decided to flag it as stolen and wipe it via protect.blackberry.com

My main question is, how do I verify that my Q10 has been wiped? And will the SD card data be wiped too?

    No.
And that's why you either encrypt it or keep it for non sensitive stuff.

Previously the blackberry protect says it is unable to get a response from my Q10 and the moment it connects to the net, the system will wipe it

After a while it says the phone has been wiped. Does that mean the chap who took it attempted to use it and since the phone was connected to the net it was wiped as per say?
