I tried to reset my BB Passport device, and now for some reason it stopped the process at around 10% and is not turning ON. Any idea what can be done?

You will have to run an autoloader.
Download to PC, unzip, plug in your device, and run it.

Also be aware that the autoloader will wipe your device. Hopefully you have a backup of data or you have no need to restore info.
I believe he was already trying to wipe when he got the error.
ahh - where's my coffee!
Thanks a lot...it worked and my Passport is as good as before....
Although the touch issue still remains..sometimes it starts touching the screen on its own.
Will have to buy a new BlackBerry Passport...
Thanks for your help anyway
Hey Umang,
What touch issue do you mean? That might be able to be resolved on its own without a new Passport...
Let me explain in detail (hope you have patience to read and I'll be grateful for anyone who can suggest)
When I open the 'Phone' app to make any calls or dial any number, for some reason without me actually touching the screen the phone starts to receive command, as if somebody is actually touching the screen. If I call from my contacts, again similar mischief happens, it activates speaker without me touching or it hangs up without me touching.
Even when somebody calls me, it gets answered without me touching it.
And I have checked all the settings, 'Holstered' options are perfectly deactivated on my Passport.
When ever I try to dial any number it starts dialling itself any random numbers and then makes the call or randomly does things.
May be its hard to believe but it happens this way, my phone never fell nothing nasty happened with my phone. I keep it very safe, its very dear to me..its the first phone I ever bought in m life and I always wanted a BlackBerry for me but I was too little to afford one.
So every time I have to close the 'phone' app and make call via any other phone.
I now use my device only for multimedia purpose.
Thats why I decided to reset it to see if it can solve, but of no avail.
Hi, sorry to bother again but any suggestions how my phone,s touch screen issue can be resolved??
It sounds like you have a hardware problem as in the screen/digitizer is broken. If after you have tried:
1. a hard reset - hold power key down for 12-15 second
2. using an autoloader to reinstall your OS.
and neither of those has worked, then you will need to replace the screen. You could also run BBVE (from BlackBerry World) to check hardware components BEFORE using an autoloader.
