I am planning to buy used blackberry Q10. Its a gsm phone. Buying in india so no issues of contract etc.
Is there any way to check the warranty period of the phone or date of purchase online and to get the information about the owner somehow by using imei number.
and how to check for water damage.
For the warranty, i guess that the phone isnt eligible since it's an "old" device. But even if my Q is almost 3 years old it still works like new.
For the water damage it's easy, you have a water damage indicator located in the battery tray at the bottom. If it's white, it's good to go... if red, i think you already know what it means.
Also try doing all the tests available with the BBVE blackberry virtual expert. It will give you great info about the state of the hardware.
