Hey guys! I was just wondering if there is a fully (or maybe partially) functional client for Gmail in blackberry 6 os. For bold 9780?

The website, lol. That's about the best you can do.
There's also LogicMail + workaround, not perfect but works well enough.

See this page for Gmail using LogicMail: http://darkstar.x10host.com/nibble/i...view&id_page=5

You can also get an installable browser shortcut for Gmail on this page: http://darkstar.x10host.com/nibble/i...iew&id_page=11

Is the logic mail thingy, paid or free? Is it available in app world?

LogicMail is open source. BlackBerry finally permitted it into App World a few years ago, but you can also download it directly from the site: LogicMail Installation

It does not seem to work. As the incoming imap servers require TLS 1.2 whereas this has TLS 1.0. Any better Ideas?

It seems that you probably did not read the 'workaround' instructions linked to post number 3. You won't be using the gmail IMAP server. Rather, you'll be using the IMAP server of the account to which you forward your gmail.

It's worth noting that LogicMail will frequently disconnect from IMAP, meaning that you won't be able to count on getting incoming mail notifications, and you will have to manually refresh your mail. It's a solution, but it's not a great one.

The installable browser launcher/shortcut linked in post number 3 works about as well as LogicMail does, and requires no workaround. So you might try that and see if it's satisfactory.

Vig, is there a reason you don't want to use native e-mail on BBOS? I'd have to check my archival devices as I've not used it in a while but I'm pretty sure the native clients will work with Gmail....
