    What is 'N' alphabet on right side of battery icon and how to remove??

    It's the NFC symbol. Just drag your finger down from the top to either turn off NFC on the quick settings or to go to settings, Networks and Connections and turn it off there.

    NFC. Just turn it off if you don't use it (under network and connections).

    Near Field Communication. Can be turned off in the settings, see comments above.

    In some capitals, one can use the phone to pay like a Visa card, or the phone itself can be a card reader (or international passport chip reader)... there is an app for that...

    I don't use it and turn it off.
