[CrackBerry Question]

It is a couple of years old and has been replaced under my plan, but we use BBM alot and I was hoping to keep using it.
When I come within range, eg get home from work, the signal shows as strong for a short time, then drops to the point where it disconnects, even if it is close to the router.

Is this a fixable issue, or is it a internal aerial or something?

Just as a side note, BBM usability on my new Android device is very poor compared to the BB OS. I was also getting far better battery life from my 1.5 yo Z3 than my new Samsung S6

Does this happen only at home or on all wifi connections? From personal experience, I can tell you that Verizon has gotten progressively worse. There are times that wifi is poor when only 20 ft away from the router. There have been times it was necessary to reboot the router to get the computer to connect. The performance drop continued with the update to higher speeds and the new high speed router.

I have only noticed it at home, but all other devices wifi work fine for that router.
Not sure what OS version it was on without checking, but it was the OS10

I have just done a full wipe when I upgraded hoping it would solve the issue but no joy.
Likely to be the ph, not just a software or setting issue..?
