    You must be on 10.3.3.2205.

The only solution is to run an autoloader. Use Ultimate Backup first if you wish to.

I believe he's asking about the background colour in the settings app. Which is black for Z30 and the Q10 only. Since he's using a leap also, he's probably confused

It's a known bug with 10.3.3.2205 on the Z30. Settings screen can go completely dark which requires an OS reload to fix.

If we are just having a friendly chat out of the blue about LCD versus AMOLED on BB10, then my bad.

Conite, I'm totally confused about the Led and amoled.....which one is better.....i mean, in iPhone, it's amoled, but in most BlackBerry phones, its led

They each have their pluses and minuses. It's really a matter of preference.

AMOLED has deeper blacks, colours that pop, and uses less battery when dark.

LCD has more accurate colours, and is brighter.

We're just talking about the underlying technology. Screen construction varies by manufacturer.

I'm a dummy. I have the black screen on settings. I can use the phone and text but nothing else. No wifi, screen goes black, no Facebook, screen goes black. Where do I get this 10.3.3.2205 to download?
