Plug into a known working charger for at least an hour, then, leaving it plugged in, try to wake it up.

Hello. You must press and hold Power key for exactly 32 seconds. Time it. This simulates a battery pull.
    Good luck

Actually anything over 32 seconds is fine, as long as it's at least 32.

On BlackBerry support does state for hard reset 32 seconds exactly. Doe not say up to... 32 seconds. Have read in other threads re exactly 32 seconds.

I didn't say up to 32 seconds, I said at least 32 seconds. Big difference. 38 seconds, or 45 seconds or 58 seconds works just as well, try it.
And link you provided does not say exactly 32, it just says 32.

I do have a question for you, I've seen a couple of mentions of holding the power button till it restarts. Out of curiosity I've tried that several times. Once for 2 1/2 minutes, mine never would restart. And I've never seen anything on an official BB page mentioning this,
    Know anything about it?

Have read a lot of threads here in forums hard reset is exactly 32 seconds. Maybe others work? In BlackBerry support says 32 seconds. Not more not less. That I read as 32 seconds and period. Actually once did have to reset my PRIV and did exactly 32 seconds and it worked. But if more ?works than great.

Holding down power button...from experience does not work and have never seen it mentioned officially by BlackBerry.

I timed the 32 the first one or two times, but typically don't have anything around to time with, so I did a slow count to to 32, then a bit more to be sure, works same as 32.
When trying the 'hold till restart', (which doesn't work) even at 2 1/2 minutes, the reset was same as a 32 second.

Hold power button will reboot device after about 12 seconds.

It'll vibrate and show the BlackBerry splash after about 12 seconds, but no reboot till you let go of the power button.

Well of course. Because if you hold it an additional 20 seconds, you get a deeper reboot.

I guess everybody is missing my question. There have been at least 3 mentions on various threads, of holding the power button till the phone restarts.
As far as I can tell, the phone will never restart as long as you keep the power button held. Maybe the other poster(s) just didn't complete their thought, or I'm missing something.

I'm fully familiar with the various 'official' reboot methods, FF22 posts them on an almost daily basis, (I'm not complaining, thats a good thing).

Have phone plugged into original charger. Press power button for 10-15 seconds. Let go. Unplug phone from charger. Repeat. If it doesn't turn on, how up power button and down power button for 10 seconds. Then press power button again for 10 seconds.
