[CrackBerry Question]

My phone was almost dead so i plugged it in and when I did something came up on the screen then it went black so I thought it was just completely dead, when I took it off the charger I couldn't get the screen to work, when I hold down the power button the light goes red but f it is plugged in it goes green, now when I press the button it tells me to swip up to wake the phone up I do and thing???Please help!!!
