[CrackBerry Question]

I use a blackberry PRIV.

My phone stopped being able to transfer files to my computer. It works fine with other computers. This is a commonly reported problem on android forums, and they all recommend reinstalling the phone's drivers. I've tried reinstalling the drivers and this absolutely does not work, it doesn't effect the problem at all.

When I investigate further I find that my computer is incapable of recognizing anything about the blackberry device. It knows something is connected but gives this answer:

"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"

Attempting to scan for updates on the driver, uninstall the driver, uninstall the device, or anything that I see as an option for fixing this problem does not work.

The errors in the event history look like this:

How many USB devices do you have plugged into the PC?
Have you tried physically removing as many USB devices as possible before troubleshooting?

Just a shot in the dark.
